He sports a long brown beard, and similarly colored long hair. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Bernard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.
