History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hugh embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He found a children's book about a Human Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Gerard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Gerard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Animal Trainer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Dilettante, and he later adopted a second son.
