History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At some point he was captured by orcs and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Bernard was born with his father's beautiful face. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Miner. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Gifted from a young age, Robert studied abroad. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was granted druidic powers by his dying brother.
