Description: A plain young-adult man, he dresses well, wearing black shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His red hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: Conrad was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, he wears a black coat over a brown low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon his head. His golden hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He has gleaming, smiling gray eyes.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Robert was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around his ears. He has violet eyes and a white hat with a grey feather.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Raymond fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears silk and lounges about seductively. He wears a top hat to cover his moderate length silver hair. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.
History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Soapmaker but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: He comes from a rich western family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Soapmaker. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.
Motivation: To be a Map Maker again; and he is unsatisfied with his job
