Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Hunter wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Gifted from a young age, Arnold studied abroad. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Arnold has worked very hard to control his curse. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
