History: Norman hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Norman alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is a great chef.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp.
