A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is a Sailor first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Gilbert enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sailor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sailor work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sailor for hire.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
