History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He's also a talented Junk Dealer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is light but he possesses many grey ritualistic tattoos. He very much looks the part of a Cartwright. His blonde hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Gunter was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Through the years after Gunter was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gunter's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Trey lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to pay off his debts
