Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Don is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Don and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born in the south. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Hubert was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Map Maker for the past few years.
