Gerald Snape, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: An older man who wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge, he is not a threatening figure. His golden hair is heavily combed to the left. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A freak accident while working with his Healer mother left him crippled. During his travels, Gerald and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Gerald discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Gerald fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
Ideals: Optimist. Flaws: Ugly, Disease. Bonds: Adventurer, Enemies. Occupation: Glassblower
Voice: Can't modulate volume

Nicholas Gentry, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he likes to wear ponchos typically of a light green in addition to tight pants. His chestnut hair is smooth and relatively long. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: Nicholas wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Commoner, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.
History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Nicholas took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up shortspear and armor he uses now. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
Ideals: Disciplined, Optimist. Bonds: Nature, Adventurer, Enemies. Occupation: Mayor
Voice: Speaks like tongue is numb

Theobald Myerscough, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He has dyed his greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.
History: He was born in a small forest village. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and wants to work out more often
Ideals: Athletic. Flaws: Insane, Shy. Bonds: Slave, Nature. Occupation: Bricklayer
Voice: Speaks in third person
