History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Bernard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Randal was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

His eyes are a pleasant amber.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: The child of a Layabout, who enjoyed hunting, Wymar was taken on many hunting expeditions. A freak accident while working with his Layabout mother left him crippled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Randal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He comes from a rich western family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy.
