History: Born in the east to a Tanner, Randal learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: He is a Deep Scion in disguise. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Gardener and was forced into it by his family; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Gerald was born with his mother's beautiful face. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting orcs, the young Gerald began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Map Maker responsibilities is difficult; and he seems to be bored by most things
