Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Bertram lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Bertram took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up bastard sword and armor he uses now. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He got into the Barkeep business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barkeep. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Barkeep.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
