History: Theodoric was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Carter. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Gerard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
