Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He is a Deep Scion in disguise. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Through the years after Adelard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Adelard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
