Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Bookbinder who has hired him part-time. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He got into the Bookbinder business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bookbinder work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bookbinder work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has achieved small success as a Bookbinder.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'0". He dresses in brown turtlenecks beneath a red coat with black slacks, and his gloved hand is found clutching a monstrous two handed axe. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hugh embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: The child of a Guard, who enjoyed hunting, Hugh was taken on many hunting expeditions. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Born in the west to a Spice Merchant, Trey learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. After coming to the age of reason, Trey took it upon himself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spice Merchant.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
