History: Patrick lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. After a long history of fighting, Patrick and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Shane isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Shane was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He's also a talented Doctor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Butcher work with an outfit from a few towns over. Butcher work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Butcher job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He got into the Spy business at a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Navigator, but he was a colossal failure. He's also a talented Navigator, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Rolf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and doesn't want to be a painter and was forced into it by his family
