Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He takes great joy in being the best Sailor in town.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sailor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sailor work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He was born in the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Conrad hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He got into the Stableman business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stableman. He has worked as a Stableman like his mother before him.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Banker and was forced into it by his family; and to reunite with his absent father

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Blacksmith, but he got bored and became a Miner. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
