History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anselm fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Hugh was born with his mother's beautiful face. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Navigator for the past few years.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: Gifted from a young age, Solomon studied abroad. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He now owns his own business.
