History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gomory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Assassin.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He tends to wear a large red jacket. His white hair is knotted and matted. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady violet eyes.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: An older man who is dressed in an above average manner, he is not a threatening figure. His chestnut hair is smooth and relatively long. His brown unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: He is a mite stocky and is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His hair is golden and curly. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is light but he possesses many red ritualistic tattoos. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Stylist work with an outfit from a few towns over. Stylist work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Stylist job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
