History: Balimaar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He got into the Mercenary business at a young age. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Slave Trader again; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Born to a Tailor, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright white and pastel, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Gerald was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
