History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Diggory grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Human Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Robert is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty blue coat over it. His brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ernest fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
