History: Gunter was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing dancing.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has worked as a Fisher like his father before him.

Motivation: To be a Architect again; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He worked as a nervous Assassin and found it very stressful. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he is unsatisfied with his job

He prefers to carry a kukri, but if one is not available he will default to his bastard sword, and is pretty ugly. He sports a long chestnut beard, and similarly colored long hair. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roland grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He worked as a nervous Farmer and found it very stressful. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
