History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Baker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Geoffrey was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Beggar. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Beggar and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: Tim was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Beggar, but he got bored and became a Carter. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Carter responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

Description: This man wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with grey lining and desert motifs. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy golden hair. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Roland is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Henry lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
