He prefers to carry a falchion, but if one is not available he will default to his flail. He has shaved his head bald. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born to a Stableman, his father struggled to pay the bills. When Kyle reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing brown cape and mantle trimmed with soft black waves gently in the breeze. He is portly but not overly obese. His white hair is heavily combed to the left. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Bernard isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He dresses like a well dressed Guard does. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He wears his red hair down. His brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He bought a glaive and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Expand his business; and balancing his hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

Description: He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His hair is cut close to his head. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Randal grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has worked as a Map Maker like his father before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Map Maker responsibilities is difficult.

Description: He is renowned for his bright grey suits and hats. He carries with him a set of pickaxes on his belt, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. With a patchy auburn beard and wild auburn hair. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Body Guard. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anthony fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a body guard and was forced into it by his family
