Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Born to a Mayor, his father struggled to pay the bills. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Everard and his spouse have recently divorced.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Gerald was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Detective. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
