The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing dancing.

History: Everard hails from a village terrorized by brigands. After coming to the age of reason, Everard took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Randal was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
