History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Roland was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bricklayer. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bricklayer for the past few years.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
