Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

Personality: Shane is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born in the west. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to unite with his sister

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
