Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. The war was a terrible time for him, and William does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Dean has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Thomas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Thomas and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Carter profession.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
