History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Miner arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
