Bertram was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Fortune-teller. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sailor for hire.
