History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Diggory's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is a great chef.

History: Diggory was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Body Guard for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new body guard responsibilities is difficult

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and wants to raise his children well

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is greedy
