History: Born in the south to a Map Maker, Diggory learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Gifted from a young age, Frederick studied abroad. Through the years after Frederick was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Frederick's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Personality: Nicholas speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Nicholas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
