Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He tends to his Map Maker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Gerard abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and doesn't want to be a navigator and was forced into it by his family

He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born to a Bowyer, his father struggled to pay the bills. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Diggory has worked very hard to control his curse. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Bowyer again.
