Personality: Gunter wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Brewer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gunter fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
