History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Richard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. After a long history of fighting, Richard and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Everard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Everard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
