Personality: He is a Spice Merchant first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.
History: Born in the east to a Spice Merchant, Shane learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and money/treasure

Description: This man does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized aquamarine on his right hand. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His hazel eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.
History: The child of a Layabout, who enjoyed hunting, Gerald was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Gerald took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up morningstar and armor he uses now. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and many brigands want him driven away

History: Cory was born with his mother's beautiful face. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Drogo grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
