History: Charles was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Charles never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
