History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dilettante and was forced into it by his family; and wants to raise his children well

History: Born in the west to a Cartwright, Godfrey learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He's also a talented Bounty Hunter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to reunite with his absent father
