Personality: Shane is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Charles was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He struck the Barber job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Norman grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Norman alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it
