History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Mason arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
