History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He found a children's book about a Human Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Simon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
