History: Raymond hails from a village terrorized by giants. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Lewis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Lewis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
