When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Arnold fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student he started as a Servant, but he got bored and became a Carter. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He also hits on men, regardless of circumstances.

History: Simon was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he wants revenge against illithids

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane, marred by beers. His white hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His gray eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and someone believes him a fraud

Voice: Gruff and masculine

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a pastel collared shirt and grey pants. He accessorizes with a brown scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. He has white hair. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady violet eyes.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born to a Spy, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barber hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.
