History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Norman abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He got into the Beggar business at a young age. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lance fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Beggar responsibilities is difficult; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
