History: Jocelyn was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mayor and was forced into it by his family; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is wearing a tight brown one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. He has dyed his greying black hair a little too much giving a sharp black color. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Born to a Map Maker, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Baker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.
