History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Robert grew up listening to his father's many stories. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Kody is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Gerald's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gerald does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Reynard hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.
