The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Personality: Charles speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Charles lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'8" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a black coat. His silver hair is lengthy. He has violet eyes and a black hat with a red feather.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Heward was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
