History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Hubert was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Through the years after Hugh was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Hugh's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Hugh and his spouse have recently divorced.
